PROJECT BRIEF:

For this two part project, I was contracted by my favorite local coney restaurant, National Coney Island, and DCP Agency to design a new website and an updated restaurant menu that would resonate with both longtime patrons and new customers. The website design aims to capture the warmth and classic charm of the diner while offering a sleek, modern user experience. I focused on intuitive navigation and responsive design, ensuring that visitors could easily access all of the restaurant’s info. The site’s aesthetic combines retro elements with contemporary touches, echoing the restaurant’s legacy while appealing to a modern audience. With a user-friendly layout, the website provides a seamless experience across all devices, from desktop to mobile.

The restaurant’s new menu was designed to complement the website, reflecting the same cozy, inviting feel while making the dining experience more accessible. I used a clean, organized layout that makes it easy for customers to browse through different sections, from breakfast staples to hearty lunch and dinner options. With a focus on typography and strategically placed imagery, the menu highlights the restaurant’s classic dishes while offering a clear, easy-to-read format. The result is a well-balanced design that elevates the dining experience—both online and in-person—ensuring the menu feels just as memorable as the food itself.
